The world is not the same as it was two years ago. So much has changed, and is still changing. This year's TEDxLytteltonWomen theme aptly titled - What Now? - is TEDWomen's bold question, sparking reflections on technology, innovation and design as well as science and culture, with responses from the lens of African women illuminating a way of co-existing now and into the future. What Now? is an interrogation of what works and what doesn't, and in invitation to react, respond and direct differently with agency, agility and urgency.
TEDxLytteltonWomen is an independently organized TED like experience under license from TEDx and TEDWomen. TEDxLytteltonWomen specifically curates content by African women, predominantly South African women. We deliberately share ideas, ways of thinking, and possibilities using the lens of African women, providing a platform to share their stories, amplifying their voices.
